RA Control automatically switches modes depending on your requirements. Mouse Mode
Mouse Mode is an innovative new concept that helps to overcome issues inherent in all Digital Audio Workstations today. A lack of co-operation. This lack of co-operation has lead to the distinct lack of hardware controllers specifically designed for controlling plugins. So Rocksolid decided to step in and solve this problem with a simple but elegant solution. Mouse Mode. In short it takes control of your mouse and moves the elements as if you were moving it with your mouse. Only you're not using your mouse, You're turning an encoder or pushing a button. It gets even better too because It never gets outdated and almost every computer has one. In short. if you have a programme with a mouse and a plugin window. The likelyhood is mouse mode will work. No Drivers, No VST Hosts, just ultimate freedom.
Create Your Own Maps

Point & Click Mapping
click and hold on the plugin element you want to map and hey presto! Its mapped.
Multiple Functions
Once you've mapped your elements you can decide what you want your mouse to do on each specific element. Single Click, Double Click, Default Click, Scroll, click and Drag, There is an option for every possible scenario.
Fine and Default Keystrokes
Mouse Mode also has the ability to automatically engage the fine control of a plugin or engage the default reset value of an element. You also have access to the velocity and fine % of the mouse in order to really tweak the overall feel of Mouse Mode.
Midi Mode
MIDI Mode gives you the ability to use your Rocksolid Audio hardware or third-party MIDI device as a standalone MIDI controller. Customize the MIDI channel, the speed and response of every encoder, along with many other customizations.

3rd Party Devices
You can now use RA Control with third-party devices capable of outputting Relative CC MIDI messages in 2's complement format, which includes almost every MIDI controller available. Once configured, you can utilize all of RA Control's modes as if you had a Rocksolid Audio device. You can load plugins into our host, create mouse maps, or even route your controller through our MIDI mode. This allows you to use your drum pad or piano to control a plugin instrument and then seamlessly switch to controlling a plugin or your DAW without changing any settings. RA Control automatically detects the mode you need at any given moment.
